Amb. Vygaudas Usackas is the Founder and CEO of V.U. Business Linking LTD, a company dedicated to connecting businesses worldwide and supporting investment and sales teams in exploring new geographies.
From 2019 to 2024, Vygaudas Usackas served as a Member of the Board of Directors and Business Development Executive at Avia Solutions Group PLC, the largest ACMI provider globally. In this role, he was responsible for identifying and leading business opportunities in new markets, significantly contributing to the Group’s growth and development. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors for Chapman Freeborn air chartering, Aviator Airport Alliance AB, Nordic Dino, and the Avia Solutions Group Arena.
Before transitioning to international business, Vygaudas Usackas had a distinguished diplomatic career representing Lithuania and the European Union. His most recent diplomatic postings include Ambassador of the European Union to the Russian Federation (2013-2017) and European Union Special Representative in Afghanistan (2010-2013). Amb. Usackas also served as Lithuanian Foreign Minister (2008-2010), Ambassador of Lithuania to the USA and Mexico (2001-2006), Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s (2006-2008), and Chief Negotiator for Lithuania’s EU Accession Negotiations (2000-2001).
